ASA is pleased to announce that Maltese customs cash detection dog 'Peter' (Pictured below during a training search) located 210,00 euros hidden in luggage whilst screening passengers departing to Istanbul. On the 13th November the Malta times press release read, Peter the Customs canine sniffer dog, gave a reaction on a passenger waiting to board the flight. ASA returns from training K9 tracker teams in Assam,India
ASA has just returned from a week in Assam, India after giving continuation training to the Aaranyak tracker teams.These k9 units are deployed into rhino bearing areas of Assam under the direction of the forestry department to assist in the prevention and intervention of wildlife crime The week of instruction included a K9 first aid course and an introduction into tactical tracking section formations.


ASA instructs law enforcement at seven U.S tracking workshops
ASA has just returned from a month in the united states after attending seven ASA/DLE Tracking / Trailing Workshops giving instruction in technical tracking techniques to U. S law, enforcement K9 teams. The course covered the movement/diffusion of scent, the importantance of Air raft discrimination and practical application, multi surface senerios and tactical movement/formations.
