In June this year ASA gave technical tracking Instruction to Conneticut state Police K9 Department and SWAT. The three day course covered various exercises designed to improve the tracking ability of an operational k9 team including counter diversionary, cross graining a track, working a tracker dog in heavily contaminated areas and tracking through water. I'm pleased to say that since the course there has been several operational water tracks leading to apprehensions.

In May this year ASA gave technical tracking Instruction to Colorado Springs Police K9 Department and Denver SWAT. The three day course covered various exercises designed to improve the tracking ability of an operational k9 team including counter diversionary, cross graining a track and working a tracker dog in heavily contaminated areas. All the teams showed massive improvement and added value to their operational knowledge.

ASA was invited in May this year to give tactical tracking instruction at the Dogs for Law Enforcement seminar held in Iowa. It was attended by 96 K9 teams from various U.S law enforcement agencies. ASA conducted five 1-day courses with instruction on counter diversionary tracking.
