New Recruits!
Meet the newest members of the A.S.A Anti-Poaching Taskforce. The pups are currently fourteen weeks old and have just started training. Two of the puppies have been named 'Savas' (War) & 'Shetani' (Devil). Pupdates to follow shortly!

A.S.A works in conjunction with doggy armour to develop Anti-Poaching vest
Animals Saving Animals is currently working in conjunction with 'Doggy Armour' to develop an Anti-Poaching dog Armoured vest. The new vest contains an internal cooling jacket and weighs only 1.5 kg a fraction of normal dog armour which is just too heavy and hot for the conditions faced by anti-Poaching dogs. The protective side of the vest is able to withstand small arms/Shotgun and is stab/Slash proof also giving protection against Spear & long bow arrow. This is due to the


Tracker Dog Team foil Rhino Poaching attempt at Save Valley Conservancy
I'm pleased to announce that on the 18th march save valley dog section intercepted and stopped a potential rhino poaching gang on the conservancy.
Three men were spotted on the conservancy in the early evening with rifle & backpack, at this point the tracker team led by Polaris and Samuel was deployed. He tracked them for approximately one hour and made sufficient ground that the poachers saw the dog team, panicked and dropped their equipment including heavy calibre ammuniti
