ASA trained cash detection dog 'Peter' finds 210,000 Euros

ASA is pleased to announce that Maltese customs cash detection dog 'Peter' (Pictured below during a training search) located 210,00 euros hidden in luggage whilst screening passengers departing to Istanbul.

On the 13th November the Malta times press release read, Peter the Customs canine sniffer dog, gave a reaction on a passenger waiting to board the flight. Upon searching the passenger’s belongings, 210,000 euros were elevated. The Police Economic Crimes Unit was informed about the case and placed the passenger under arrest pending investigations. Congratulations to all on a fantastic seizure!
