KHAN RECIEVES CONTINUATION TRAINING IN MOZAMBIQUE

In May 2023 ASA Trainer Daryll Pleasants and Josh Ureneck travelled to The Chuilexi Conservancy in Mozambique to carry out further training with Dutch Herder 'Khan' The trainers were there for seven days in total, their role to make Khan operationally ready for deployment with his new handlers. The trip was a great success with Khan responding well to training and the the handlers eager to progress. The new K9 team is now fully operational. Unfortunately shortly after return both instructors went down with Malaria, one of the many hazards of the job. After a few weeks recovery we are pleased to say both are fighting fit again.
